Python brongersmai - Brongersma's Blood Python in Kaeng Krachan np, Thailand

Thailand is home to 3 species of python. The Reticulated Python is considered to be the longest snake in the world.
The largest specimen we have encountered is a 6m long giant, in Khao Yai national park. Never seen anything like it again, absolutely amazing. It was pretty much stretched out in an open area, with only small curves in its body, so we were able to measure it in feet. However the average size we usually see in the wild is about 3 to 4m long.
The Burmese Pythons we have seen were mostly a bit smaller only occasionally over 3m.
The Brongersma’s Blood Python is considerably smaller than the other two, but a real stunning snake. It’s rare to see in the wild, though seems slightly more common further South. We have so far only seen one specimen in Kaeng Krachan national park, it was active at 8:30AM deep in dark primary forest.
